Dimevision Volume 1 Review
Recently watched Dimevision Vol 1. A Tribute to the late Dimebag Darrell Abbott from Pantera and Damage Plan. If your a fan of Dime's playing you will love this video. It shows old school footage of Dime playing some amazing solos. He actually sings & plays Seek and Destroy by Metallica in some of the 80's footage. At the beginning of the video they show a montage of all of Dime's signature model guitars as well. Pretty cool if your a fan of the Dean and or Washburn ML Dime Models. There's pics of the Dean from Hell, FBD (Far Beyond Driven), Dime Slime, and the Southern Cross models. Awesome. This DVD is not all guitar solo's though. You see alot of behind the scenes highjinx with Dime and his friends and fireworks. A little too much fireworks at times but it is funny. They also trash a yard. Pretty crazy. Now if you looking for a concert video this is not the guitar video for you because it's basically clips of Dime soloing for different Pantera / Damage Plan songs along w/ funny joking around type of stuff. Similar to the Vulgar Videos from Pantera. Theres also some vintage footage of Dime talking music. They tend to cut too much and when a solo ends. But if your a Dime fan and would like to see some oldschool footage this is the guitar DVD for you. You can find it on http://www.ebay.com/ and http://www.amazon.com/ It's tough to find in Dept. Stores.

Guitar Resources, Reviews, and Maintenance
Looking for Guitar Reviews on the Dean From Hell, Dean Far Beyond Driven, and Dean ML 79. I realize that the somewhat affordable models are foreign made, but wanted to get some ideas from people that have played these guitars. How's the Quality of the body, pickups, neck, tuners, knobs etc. How do the pickups sound? I hear the Bill Lawrence is great but have never played one on my own. Any info you could give on any Dean Dime Guitars would help our blog get off to a great start.
